Status: nom. inval. Hooker f. (Fl. Brit. Ind. 7(pt. 22): 279. Dec 1896) used Avena flavescens L., provided a description in English, and cited several synoynyms. Bor (l.c.) proposed “Trisetum scitulum Bor, nom. nov.” and cited “Avena flavescens Hook. f., Flor. Brit. Ind. 7, 279 (1896) non Linn.” as a synonym and “Exsicc.- Hook. f. s.n., Sikkim (Type, K)”.  Bor did not provide or directly refer to a Latin description
