Remarks

Griffith (in Itin.pl. Khasyah mts. 214, no. 83. 1848) published an unnamed new Solanaceae taxon and provided a description; he (in Not. Pl. Asiat. 4: 95. 1854) coined the name Lycium canescens and did not provide a description, but referred to his description published in 1848 and thus, the name L. canescens was validly published.
