Remarks
doi:10.3897/phytokeys.225.99277 Etymology: name recalls the hairy surface of the modified fruits of this species, from the Latin pilus (hair) and Greek καρπός (fruit). Cites two gatherings as the type, separated by a semicolon; for the name to be valid, this must be interpreted as separating the holotype from a paratype.
