Conservation superfluous according to McVaugh, Taxon 5 (1956) 162; Rickett, Taxon 7 (1958) 191; Rickett & Stafleu, Taxon 9 (1960) 71. This combination predates that of Lindley - not in Index Nominum Genericorum 1 (1979) 41 which gives the 1839 reference.
