Remarks
for G. pictoria, Mabberley (in Taxon 26(5–6): 529. 1977) cited Buch.-Ham. as the author. Hamilton (p. 347) gave a description under the name “Mundo”; on p. 346, he mentioned that Roxburgh coined the name Garcinia pictoria for “Mundo” treated by Rumphius (Herb. Amboin. 1: 135, left column. 1741). Hamilton did not indicate that he accepted the name G. pictoria. For the authorship, Greuter (B; pers. comm.) accepted Roxburgh as the author, and Mabberley agreed for the same.
