Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. nom. subnud. On p. 38, Hooker mentioned “genus Landolphia … is a group of woody climbers, all of which probably yield caoutchouc, and on p. 39, he provided a single descriptive character “climber 20 feet high” [protologue: “L. Mannii, sp. n.—A very distinct species collected by Gustav Mann at Corisco Bay (Lat. 1 N), and not at present known from any other locality. Mann describes it as a climber 20 feet high, and yielding caoutchouc.”]
