Published without a description by Mueller in First Gen. Report Govt Bot. (1854) 12. Although the typographic setout of this name is poor, Mueller's comments on p. 115, and under Acacia dodonaefolia on p. 131, indicate his acceptance of the taxon as a good species. See also the Index on p. 205.
