Remarks

doi:10.1007/s12228-020-09650-9 Lubaria is based on the vernacular name 'lúbaro' cited in the protologue of L. aroensis (Pittier, 1929), and heterophylla is derived from the Greek, 'heteros-' (different) and 'phúllon' (leaf), in reference to the presence of leaves with different sizes and number of leaflets on the same shoot in mature plants.
