Remarks
doi:10.3897/phytokeys.169.57996 Named for Cuba, in which the genus is narrowly endemic. The diminutive 'icula' is an allusion to the fact that this genus is second only to Pyrrorhiza in Haemodoraceae in its restricted geographical range.
