Remarks
“Gliricidia Kunth, Nov. Gen. Sp. 6: 309 (ed. fol.), 393 (ed. qto.). 1824” was not validly published. Walpers (l.c.) accepted the genus, ascribed it to Kunth, referred to Kunth’s (l.c.) genus description, and acknowledged Kunth’s contribution in the preface. Therefore, Kunth is accepted as the author.
