Cramer's (1996) intended new combination Andrographis longipedunculata (Sreem.) L. H. Cramer was not validly published; he did not provide a direct reference to the basionym. Karthikeyan and Moorthy listed Andrographis longipedunculata (Sreem.) L.H. Cramer as an accepted name and provided a direct and full reference to the basionym.
