Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. illeg. nom. superfl. Bulbophyllum tripudianthe J.M.H.Shaw was superfluous and illegitimate when published. The preceding name was proposed as a “comb.nov.”, and “Cirrhopetalum tripudians C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f., Gard. Chron., n.s., 5: 816. (1876)” was cited as a replaced synonym. The latter name itself is a new combination based on Bulbophyllum tripudians C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f. (1874)
