Hybrid Parents & Eponymy: STREPTOCARPUS BANKSII: This fine hybrid is one of several that have been raised recently in the Cambridge Botanic Garden. It is between S. Wenalandii (male) and one of the named forms of the usually grown hybrid strain (female), the latter with blue-white margined flowers. The cross was made by Mr. G. H. Banks, foreman of the plant-houses, and I have pleasure in naming it after him.
