Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. nom. nud. , under Art. 38.3., ICN (2018), the description does not meet the requirements of 38.1(a); the protologue: [Diameter] 48 to 60 ft, [height] 90 to 140 ft; A majestic tree, inhabiting the rich alluvial flats upon the banks of the rivers, and in such has a pillar-like trunk, clear of branches for three- fourths of its entire height. The timber is of high repute for strength, lightness (floats in water when dry), and durability, and can be had in great quantities.
