Given by Index Nominum Genericorum (Phan.) 1 (1979) 299 as nom. rej. however it is not listed in Appendix III of the I.C.B.N. and rejection is unnecessary. This name does not seem to have been applied to Australian taxa, however it is recorded by N.T.Burbidge, Dict. Austral. Pl. Genera (1963) 60.
