Remarks

The published name Capparis “cuatrecasana” Dugand commemorates J. Cuatrecasas. Dugand seems to have omitted the final consonant -s-, used “cuatrecasa-” as the stem to which he added -na, and coined the epithet. As per the ICN Art. 60.7, the letter -s- needs to be restored, and the epithet is corrected to: cuatrecasasiana
