Some works attribute the new combination to (Noronha) R.Br. (in W.T.Aiton) or (Lamb.) R.Br. (in W.T.Aiton); the generic treatment of Araucaria in Aiton's 1813 work is not attributed to Brown mss. Therefore, W. T. Aiton is the author of the new combination, and he based it on Dombeya excelsa Lamb.
