Remarks
The protologue of Nephrodium terminans Hook. (1862) includes N. conionevron Fée (1850) and Lastrea malaccensis C.Presl (1851) as synonyms; the preceding 2 names render superfluity and illegitimacy to N. terminans. Panigrahi cited N. terminans p.p. as a synonym and N. Wallich Cat. 386 (K) as the holotype, and he excluded N. conionevron and L. malaccensis from the synonymy. Thus Panigrahi inadvertently published T. terminans as a nom. nov. and is homotypic with Amphineuron terminans Holttum (1973).
