Presl (p. 16) did not provide a description; his reference to the description of '(T. muscoides Hook. et Grev. ic. fil. t. 179' (= T. muscoides sensu Hook. & Grev. Icon. Filic. 2: t. 179. 1830, non Sw., 1801) validates the name T. hookeri; on p. 23, he cited T. muscoides Sw. as a synonym of Didymoglossum muscoides (Sw.) Desv.
