Remarks
Berger (pp. 100, 103) listed M. broadwayi and Cactus broadwayi Britton & Rose (1922) as accepted names. Both names refer to the treatment on p. 78, which has the figure no. 63 showing the name “Cactus (Melocactus) Broadwayi” (sic). Since only the name M. broadwayi is new, it is not considered as an alternative name and treated as invalid (Shenzhen Code Art. 36.3 applies)
