Remarks
Feuillée (in J. Obs. Phys. Math. Bot. 2: t. 29. 1714) published a phrase name as ‘Rapuntium spicatum, foliis acutis, vulgo Tupa’; Linnaeus (1753: 930) misquoted Feuillée’s phrase name as ‘Rapuntium spicatum, foliis acutis, vulgo Trapa’ and coined the specific epithet as 'Trapa'; subsequently, Linnaeus (Sp. Pl., ed. 2, 2: 1318. 1763) correctly cited Feuillée’s phrase name and corrected the specific epithet to ‘Tupa’ (correction allowed; see Madrid Code Art. 60 Ex. 4)
