Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. Porter and Johnson cited the basionym as “Linanthus montanus Greene, Erythea 3: 120. 1895”; the preceding name, however, was published by Greene as a new combination and was directly based on Linanthus ciliatus var. montanus Greene (1892); therefore, the intended new combination by Porter and Johnson was not validly published (ICN Art. 41.8 Ex 20 applies)
