A.Chase, Index to Grass Species 2 (1962) 337 gives Jackson, Index Kewensis 2 (1894) 18 as the place of publication saying erroneously cited as Trin. Gram. Unifl. 217; the same would apply to L. rudis (Roemer & Schultes) Trin., but the combination is validly made by Trinius in the Index.
