Yeo published ‘forma ligulata Yeo, forma nov.’ and cited ‘E. Gardner at Katmandu (K)’ as the holotype and ‘Saxifraga ligulata Wall. in As. Res. 13: 398, cum. ic. (1820)’ as a synonym; he inadvertently designated ‘E. Gardner at Katmandu (K)’ as the lectotype of S. ligulata Wall.
