doi:10.11646/phytotaxa.409.3.1 The authors stated that Scabiosa thysdrusiana Le Houér. and its subsequent combinations: Scabiosa atropurpurea subsp. thysdrusiana (Le Houér.) Pott.-Alap. and Sixalix thysdrusiana (Le Houér.) Greuter & Burdet, were not validly published because no holotype was indicated. However in 1960 when Scabiosa thysdrusiana Le Houér. was published a type only had to be indicated and this requirement was met. Sixalix lehoueroui Domina & El Mokni is, therefore, superfluous for Sixalix thysdrusiana (Le Houér.) Greuter & Burdet.
