Meissner writes ... speciosa nob. (Not. Turcz.) but no Genetyllis speciosa Turcz. has been traced and the text refers only to Genetyllis macrostegia Turcz. which appears to be the taxon referred to by Meissner. Base name for Darwinia speciosa (Meissner) Benth.
