Remarks
Soó treated O. macchiattii E. G. Camus as a spontaneous hybrid (parents: O. aranifera Huds. & O. speculum Link) occurring in Sardinia and assigned artificial hybrids raised by Denis from the same parents to O. neokelleri Soó. Although one may treat Soó O. neokelleri as a superfluous illegitimate name, it is construed here that he proposed O. neokelleri for the artificial hybrid alone, that the type of O. macchiattii was not definitely included in O. neokelleri, and that the preceding name is legitimate.
