Remarks
The protologue shows the genus name as “Moschopis” and its derivation as “Moschos ternero; ops, opiscarr”. However, 'Moschopis' is in genitive form and needs to be corrected to either 'Moschops' or 'Moschopsis'. The latter spelling has been widely used.
