Remarks
Justicia micrantha Pohl ex Nees (1847) is a pro synonym, and J. micrantha Wall. ex C.B.Clarke (1885) is a legitimate new name for Rostellaria crinita Nees 1832 (non J. crinita Thunb. 1794). Perhaps, unaware of the invalidity of “J. micrantha Pohl ex Nees”, Ramamoorthy treated J. micrantha Wall. ex C.B.Clarke as a later homonym and proposed J. neesii as a new name.
