Although Poiret (pp. 500-506) authored the treatment of the genus Juglans, the name J. fraxinifolia and its diagnosis were ascribed simultaneously in a paragraph ending with Lamarck MSS. (cf., Vienna Code Art. 46.3, Ex. 14 (in press)).
