Remarks
Agrostis calamagrostis (L.) Leers (1775), based on Arundo calamagrostis L. (1753), is a later homonym (non Agrostis calamagrostis L. 1759). For his Arundo halleri, Willdenow cited Agrostis calamagrostis Leers as a synonym, but excluded its basionym Arundo calamagrostis; therefore, A. halleri Willd. is treated here as the name of a new species.
