Remarks
Clayton (in Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Gramineae 2: 206. 1974) mentioned that the type is housed in LINN, but LINN has 2 sheets ( 87.33 and 87.34), which are not part of a single gathering; therefore, he did not lectotypify the name.
