Type Information

Locality
Kings mountain, North Carolina, westward through the southwestern part of North Carolina, to northern Georgia, eastern Tennessee, and probably to northern Alabama. This species reaches its best development and is most abundant in and around Ocoee county, Georgia (vide Ashe, Nov 1897)
