Remarks
Martius (Hist. Nat. Palm. 2: 56. 1824) treated the genus Corypha L.; he (p. 151, index; Jan 1837) listed Corypha (nunc Copernicia) 56. One can argue that Martius published Copernicia as an illegitimate replacement for the genus Corypha.
