Brand's intended new species G. globularis was inadvertently published as a nom. & stat. nov. He flagged G. globularis as n.sp., cited G. spicata var. capitata A. Gray (1870) as a synonym, and cited a s ingle colelction (Hall u. Harbour n. 461 = E. Hall & J. P. Harbour 461). Both names are typied by the same specimen.
