Locality
& collection: An unpublished species, lately received from the Botanic Garden at Calcutta, where it was introduced by Dr. Roxburgh from Pulo-Pinang, or, as it is more commonly called amongst us, Prince of Wales's Island

Remarks

Ker Gawler assigned the species name to Roxburgh and translated Roxburgh's English description into Latin; Sims (Bot. Mag. t. 2047. 1819) also did the same
