Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. , does not appear to use the word 'type', contrary to Art. 40.6, ICN (2018), and appears to cite two types, collected in 1992 and 1993.
Remarks
Etymology: 'with open tepals', these are not joined but completely separated and stretched out. [Note: 92/2 identified as holotype and currently missing, 92/3 identified as isotype - M.Biagioli 5Sep2023]
