Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. ‘Eleiotis monophylla DC.’ is treated here as a new name for Glycine monophyllos Burm.f. 1768 (non G. monophylla L., 1767). For his varietal name E. monophylla var. hebecarpa, De Candolle cited G. monophyllos Burm.f. as a synonym and thus included the type of E. monophylla (see ICNafp Art. 26.2)
