Remarks

doi:10.3897/phytokeys.218.97590 Etymology: 'The specific epithet is derived from two adjectives that reflect the unique characteristics of Glossoloma magenticristatum. The corolla is magenta, a color not found in other members of Glossoloma. The adjacent calyx lobes are tightly appressed and form a crease that appears winged or crested (Fig. 2B), which reflects the second part of the specific epithet, cristate.'
