Nomenclatural Notes

Remarks

doi:10.1111/jse.12741 The epithet refers to the relatively narrow (and short) pistillate scales in this species that leave the perigynia largely exposed. The long (and long‐beaked) perigynia ascending in narrow spikes are unique to this species.
