Remarks
This species is named for Stephan Beck in appreciation for his superb efforts to improve botanical knowledge in Bolivia by collecting plants, teaching and mentoring students, kindness in his assistance to botanical visitors, and in building infrastructure at the National Herbarium in La Paz (LPB).
