Protologue: B. Dichotomus. White. Oka-mundel, covers the whole of Diu Island, and is also found in various parts of Goozerat (Gujarat). Mr. Vaupei. A solitary tree grows on a Hill at Mazagon, and it is branched like the Doom palm. The fructification has not been examined. See a sketch of the tree, Madras Journal of Science (= Madras J. Lit.
