Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. Plate 199-B shows the name Ephippium grandiflorum. However, the text on p. 42 shows: B(ulbophyllum). grandiflorum. Tab. 495. fig. 3 et Tab. 199. B. (nomine Ephippium). Additionally, p. 62 (index) shows the name B. grandiflorum with a reference to: IV. 42. t. 195, fig. 3, et t. 199 B. The name E. grandiflorum is not listed in the index. It is construed that Blume did not accept the name E. grandiflorum.
