Type citation: Holotypus s. n. Taylor (UC) hic designatus. There are 2 sheets at UC by Taylor both s.n. (without numbers) … Type: s.n. Loher, collected in Rizal Province, Luzon, Philippine Islands, September 1909. UC was named Hoya burtoniae Kloppenburg. Thus new species was collected in 1923 at Catobato, Mindoro, Philippines.” The citation of Loher (=August Loher, 1874 - 1930) is treated here as a typographical error for Taylor. (english)
