Remarks
Balle (1970) cited the basionym reference as: Loranthus -- Hochst. ex Rich., Tent. Fl. Abyss. 1, p. 341. (1847-51)” (sic). Although he did not cite the basionym epithet platyphyllus, he indicated it, and therefore, his new combination was validly made (see Shenzhen Code Art. 41.5, first sentence)
