Remarks
Afferni cited the basionym reference as: “Sedum cyrenaicum Brullo & Furnari, Webbia, 34 (1): 155–174, 1979” (sic). Since the pagination 155-174 refers to Brullo & Furnari’s entire paper and not to the protologue of the basionym alone, one may treat the intended new combination as not validly published (see the ICN Art. 41 Ex. 12). However, Afferni cited the holotype and gave a diagnosis in English; therefore, his new combination was validly published (Art. 41.8(d) applies)
