Remarks
Meximowicz ascribed his var. denudata to: Hayne Arzn. gew. VIII. sub t. 31.1819 (=Hayne, Getreue Darstell. Gew. 8: t. 31. 1822); Hayne treated this taxon as Spiraea ulmaria var. denudata. Therefore, Maximowicz's ascription of his varietal name to Hayne is construed here as an error.
