Status: nom. illeg. later homonym non A. pectinatum Wall. ex G. Nicholson (1881).

Remarks

Acer pectinatum Wall ex G. Nicholson (1881) was published as a superfluous illegitimate name for A. acuminatum Wall. ex D. Don (1825). Pax excluded A. acuminatum from A. pectinatum and treated the former as a synonym of A. caudatum Wall. (see Pax, p. 197). He, therefore, created A. pectinatum as a later homonym (see Vienna Code Art. 48.1).
