Status: nom. inval. Nordenstam's intended new combination Canariothamnus palmensis was based on Cineraria palmensis Nees, Horae phys. Berol. Tab. 24 ( 1 820).” The latter itself is a new combination based on Senecio palmensis C.Sm. (1819). The Melbourne Code Art. 41.8 Ex. 20 applies.
