Remarks
Type: H. micrantha (A.Gray) Rydb. (Streptanthus micranthus A.Gray). Rydberg (Bull. Torrey Bot. Club 34(8): 432, 435. 10 Oct 1907) stated: The first species of this genus (i.e., Thelypodiopsis on p. 432) as well as of the following new genera (e.g., Heterothrix on p. 435) is regarded as the type. His selection of the first species as the generic type is treated as a mechanical method and rejected.
